In the Cowichan Valley School District (SD79), 18 people are running for seven trustee positions.

Thirty people are running for nine trustee positions in the Greater Victoria School District.

There are seven candidates in each of the Sooke School District's two trustee electoral areas.

Trustees have been acclaimed in the Central Saanich, Saanich and Sidney electoral areas. Three candidates are running for two seats in the North Saanich electoral area.

The Cowichan Valley Regional District has nine electoral areas. Each will elect one director; candidates have been acclaimed in two areas.

The Capital Regional District has three electoral areas: Salt Spring Island, Southern Gulf Islands, and Juan de Fuca. Each will elect one director.
