With a herd of reindeer taking him wherever he has to go around the world, Santa doesn't get to do much running - until it's time for the Santa Shuffle Fun Run & Elf Walk. Choose between a 5-km fun run and a 1-km walk.
The event, held across North America, is a fundraiser for the Salvation Army. The Running Room is a major sponsor.
The entry fee is $30 for adults, $20 for youths 12 and under and $85 per family.
Walkers and runners have until tomorrow to register for Saturday's run. Race kit pick-up at the Victoria Running Room, 1008 Douglas St.
The event starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Victoria West Community Centre, 521 Craigflower Rd. (next to Banfield Park). There will be post-event refreshments, awards and prizes.
