Brave souls can audition (well, mock audition) for the Belfry Theatre as part of this city's Culture Days activities.
The mock auditions happen Saturday at the Belfry from noon to 12: 30 p.m. and Sunday from 11: 30 a.m. to noon. Bring a monologue of your choice or use materials provided by the theatre. Belfry's artistic director Michael Shamata will provide advice and tips. Participation is first-come, first-served - however, you can reserve a spot by called the theatre at 2503856815. On Saturday, the Belfry provides building tours, running 10 a.m. to noon, and a workshop on performing Shakespearean roles, also overseen by Shamata.
