The Westshore Rebels at Kamloops Broncos scheduled B.C. Football Conference game Saturday night was postponed due to poor air quality in the Interior because of the wildfires.

It was not known when the game would be rescheduled.

The Rebels opened the season on the Lower Mainland two weeks ago with a 19-16 victory over the Langley Rams followed by an 18-18 draw in the home opener last week at Westhills Stadium against the Okanagan Sun.

The Broncos are 0-2.

Elsewhere Saturday, the Vancouver Island Raiders (2-1), trailing 34-7, roared back for a 35-34 win over the Langley Rams (1-2) at Caledonia Park in Nanaimo. The Sun (1-0-1) were in Chilliwack playing the Fraser Valley Huskers (1-1) in a late-finishing game.

The Rebels host the Raiders in the all-Island derby next Saturday at Westhills Stadium.
