The NHL and the locked-out players' association have scheduled negotiating sessions for Wednesday and Thursday in New York but won't be discussing their core differences. Deputy commissioner Bill Daly said Monday he expects the conversation to cover secondary issues, including "health and safety, medical care, drug testing, rent and mortgage reimbursements [and] grievances."
