Lucky Comox voters will get a chance to try drive-through voting for the first time this election. The Comox district electoral office is located in a former car dealership with drive-through bays.

District electoral officer Hildy Richardson came up with the idea of putting them to good use. Anyone who can't leave their car  for whatever reason - perhaps they don't want to leave pets unattended - can just drive up and cast a ballot. The drive-through windows will be open noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Monday.

Meanwhile, all B.C. voters can vote at district electoral offices up through voting day, or  use advance polls from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting this Wednesday until Saturday.
