Oh, the irony of it all.
Victoria does not wish to pollute its space by dumping its contaminated soil within its own jurisdiction, yet does not appear to respect a clean-environment wish voiced by the people of Shawnigan Lake.
Are we to believe that the dumping can be done with zero environmental risk? If so, then the dumping should be of no concern and consequence, and should logically occur in Victoria.
Whatever happened to fairness, responsibility, accountability, equality?
