If Justin Trudeau really wants to win the leadership of the Liberal Party and ultimately form the governing party, he needs to promise to end the prohibition of marijuana.
The Union of B.C. Municipalities voted Wednesday to decriminalize marijuana and tax marijuana. The Liberal Party of Canada has also supported decriminalization.
The current federal government will never legalize pot. It is only possible with a new government that is honest and straightforward with its mandate.
If Trudeau wants to win seats in B.C., he should think about this issue and step up. I know his father would be proud.
