Transport urban deer to Strathcona Park

Exactly why cannot a program be created to tranquilize a certain proportion of our deer population each year and ship them up to Strathcona Park in the middle of Vancouver Island?

The park is a natural habitat and cougars being natural predators will hunt where they know they can find food. It has to be a win/win for both deer and cougars as Strathcona Park is a huge natural park easily capable of maintaining a large population of both species.

The effect in the long run is that cougars will drift upwards to Strathcona and our local population of deer will be reduced in our gardens and less likely to be plastered over our car windshields.

I grow weary of hearing that deer cannot be tranquilized and moved. We have just witnessed pictures from a vehicle on Mars - nothing is impossible.
