Sunday must have been Lack of Respect Day.
First, I was disappointed to see the omission of the word "chief" in the article about the raising of the Hosaqami Totem at Government House by Chief Tony Hunt of the Kwagulth Nation (formerly the Kwakiutl Nation).
If that wasn't bad enough, the title "Sir" was omitted in the article about the upcoming concert by Sir Paul McCartney. These gentlemen earned their titles and deserve to utilize said titles.
I can understand a person like Bev Oda, former minister of international cooperation, losing her title and respect, but that's a different kettle of fish.
