Thank you to Denise Savoie for years of service and dedication to her work for her constituents and for the people of Canada.
It is sad to hear that it is for health reasons that she leaves us. I will miss her name on future ballots. It must be a difficult time for her to leave in such circumstances and on the anniversary of the death of NDP leader Jack Layton. A sad time remembered.
Her replacement will have some large shoes to fill.
