What’s so all-fired important about getting almost-instant election results? Surely we should be more interested in the vote being fair in the first place. At least nobody in Saanich, or in any other municipality in B.C., to my knowledge, has faced moves to disenfranchise whole groups of voters for sinister reasons.
So although they got quick data, the results in some U.S. jurisdictions in Tuesday’s midterms had been manipulated.
