Quebec's flag move saddens

I have served my country in the Canadian Armed Forces for more than 25 years. I have been deployed to the Middle East and have spent many long and hot months away from family and friends while being overseas completing tours in the Arabian Gulf.

I have served my country in the Canadian Armed Forces for more than 25 years. I have been deployed to the Middle East and have spent many long and hot months away from family and friends while being overseas completing tours in the Arabian Gulf.

And I did this for one reason to protect all Canadians from the terrors and threats overseas and to broaden the interests of the Canadian government and to expand our foreign policy abroad.

And then I see that while the Quebec minority government was being sworn in, the Quebec provincial flag was present for the ceremony but not the Canadian flag.

Had this happened to the Quebec flag anywhere else in Canada, can you imagine the uproar?

It mysteriously appeared later after the ceremony. Only in Quebec would this be allowed and not questioned.

Sad.
