In the past, I have been supportive of medical caregivers and other hospital workers on issues of working conditions and compensation.
But now, based on media reports of resistance to flu vaccinations and the apparent unwillingness to do something as simple and necessary as frequent hand-washing, I wonder if my sympathy has been misplaced.
Do these failings indicate a lack of training, or a lack of interest in the wellbeing of the patients in their care?
