Invite Saudi elite to come hunting

The pristine Serengeti plains of Tanzania are being threatened by a group of wealthy Saudis who want to purchase vast areas nearby to turn into a private game reserve so they can hunt and kill.

Could we not distract them from this odious exercise by inviting them to hunt in Greater Victoria? Our abundant deer, rabbit and goose population, augmented on occasion by an errant cougar, should provide ample temptation.

These free-spending tourists will benefit the economy, while at the same time culling the local herds and reducing the amount of ink needed to give voice to these inconveniences.
