Densification will not be good for Cordova Bay

Cordova Bay is a unique community. It retains a large urban forest and still has a rural feeling, which is reflected in the real-estate valuations.

Mike Dalton of Citta Construction says: “Cordova Bay has the potential to be more than it is right now.” With a dramatic increase in density, it also has the potential to become less than it is right now.

Through experience regarding development proposals in our neighbourhood, we found that Saanich council listened to our neighbours’ concerns and rejected four subdivision proposals.

These development proposals are not in keeping with the character of our neighbourhood. We hope the people of Cordova Bay have the passion and determination to reject this densification.
