Legislature Speaker Darryl Plecas is right — I’m about to hurl my cookies, but it is not solely due to the spending details made public. This whole affair has been handled in a most unprofessional manner.

I’m not sure if Plecas fancies himself as Hercule Poirot or Hedda Hopper, but the legislature and B.C. deserve much better conduct from the Speaker. Whatever Craig James and Gary Lenz did or did not do, they should not be tried in a titillating, indecorous manner to satisfy someone’s ego.

We expect our politicians to act with decorum and diplomacy. Time to stop the reports, responses and responses to the responses.
