If the "small" Goldstream spill, on a highway close to cities and emergency facilities, cost $2 million plus, with still unrecovered fuel under the road and in rock beds, what would be the cost of a spill from a pipeline in a mountainous wilderness valley, undetected, along poor roads, miles from civilization?
It boggles the mind.
