Re: “Church scales back housing project in Oak Bay,” April 29.
The computer-generated illustration of the Oak Bay United Church development, which was twice published in the Times Colonist, fails to include the existing church building, and is thus deceptive.
The illustration here, which was on one of the posters at the recent open house, gives a better idea of the mass of the development relative to the existing church structure. Little wonder one of the development team referred to it as “the beast” in conversation with me.
