I trust many Canadians were aware of the recent Asia-Pacific Economic Conference held in Vladivostok, Russia, and the attendance of the Canadian delegation led by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
There is no doubt that Harper's performance at this APEC conference was superb. His skills, knowledge and speeches during this important gathering of world leaders, relating to world finance, politics and human rights issues, clearly made him a leader among leaders. In fact it is quite clear that Harper has become a world statesman, given today's turbulent times.
Canadians, rather than continuing to demonize our prime minister, should acknowledge his outstanding intellectual capacity, and how fortunate we are to have him leading our country at this time in our history, when many countries continue to fall by the wayside.
