This Sunday, get set to watch the best television commercials of the year. In between these mini masterpieces there will be a football game.
Because we just can't wait to be sold stuff, the Super Bowl commercials have started to leak out through social media. (I say "leak," but we all know what's going on here.)
There are some early front-runners for most memoriable, but here's my favourite so far, featuring Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel, rehashing a famous bit from 1994 when they wondered about this thing called the Internet.
There will be lots of celebrity appearances, too, like this one featuring Kim Kardashian, which suggests she may actually have a sense of humour about her public image.
There will also be lots (and lots) of pretty girls selling us stuff. This one may not be clever, but it's cheeky.

That tearjerker spawned a copycat from Go Daddy, but you won't see it during the game since the web-hosting service pulled it after a public outcry. You'll see why.
