Instructive signs that struck my fancy, encountered in my travels. My favourite is one posted on construction hoarding at Union Station in Toronto, above a door with a keypad lock, where you have to punch in a code to unlock. Some workers were apparently writing the code on the door.
Construction site sign at Union Station, Toronto.
Via Rail sign at Union Station, Toronto. I've noticed similar demands for good behaviour at numerous train stations and airports.
Washroom door sign at a restaurant on Robson Street, Vancouver. There might have been an unwanted walk-in problem.
Liquor store on Yates Street, Victoria. I am seeing more of these around town.
Coffee shop sign on Blanshard Street, Victoria.
A restaurant in Saanich. Drink refill etiquette clarified.
Wharf Street, Victoria. In an area with a concentration of bars.
Restaurant in Newcastle, England. I know someone who walked through a glass window, breaking the window in the process; he swears the window was invisible to him.
