A 16-year-old male has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a 34-year-old man who was hit by a truck at Douglas Street and Saanich Road on Tuesday.
Saanich police said a physical altercation between the two led to the death.
The accused can’t be named because of his age.
Police said the matter is before the courts and no further details will be released.
The driver of the truck is not part of the investigation.
