The body of a woman washed up on the shore at Denny Road near Comox late Saturday afternoon.
Comox Valley RCMP found the woman’s body at about 4:30 p.m. on the shoreline close to the B.C. Ferries Little River terminal serving the Comox-Powell River route.
The circumstances of her death are under investigation, Comox Valley RCMP said in a news release.
The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating.
