Ten Canada-wide warrants have been issued for a man believed to be on Vancouver Island.

Jack Lincoln Kelley, 34, is wanted in connection with charges of sexual assault, unlawful confinement, assault causing bodily harm and several charges related to breach of his court-imposed bail conditions. The charges are from last year.

Police investigators in the Lower Mainland recently alerted Vancouver Island RCMP detachments that Kelley may be hiding out on the Island, where he has connections, according to Nanaimo RCMP spokesman Const. Gary O’Brien.

Kelley is described as white and six feet tall with a muscular build and a shaved head. He has a number of tattoos.

In February, Burnaby RCMP issued a plea for the public to be on the look out for Kelley, who is from that community.

Burnaby RCMP said at the time that under court-ordered conditions, Kelley is banned from dating or having any intimate relationship with any woman unless a bail supervisor has first informed her of his conditions.

Police say Kelley should not be approached. If you see him, call 911 or the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, or the local police department.
