Victoria police have received information about incidents at Tuesday’s demonstration at the legislature after calling for people to come forward with concerns.
The police request came in response to reports of injuries during the rally, and they stressed that pushing and obstructing people from getting to work is not part of peaceful protest.
“We continue to ask additional people to come forward,” said acting police spokesman Bowen Osoko. “It doesn’t matter who they are, we want everyone to feel safe.
“If additional people have information we want to hear it.”
