A missing 75-year-old man with dementia has been located and is safe and sound, Nanaimo RCMP say.
Police and search-and-rescue volunteers were searching for Wayne Strilesky, who walked away from a Manhattan Way residence in north Nanaimo.
Strilesky, who has severe dementia and is hard of hearing and lives in Parksville, went into a forested area near a home he was visiting and did not return.
