A five-vehicle collision about 11:40 a.m. in the 5000-block of Sooke Road caused no serious injuries but led to traffic delays into the afternoon.
Four cars were stopped to let a pedestrian cross near the intersection of Sooke Road and the Galloping Goose Trail when a truck towing a boat ran into the lineup from behind, causing a series of rear-enders.
Four tow trucks were called to the scene.
