Saanich police say the death of a man found in Gordon Head on Thursday was not suspicious.
Sgt. Julie Fast said a man was found in the 4200 block of Gordon Head Road, near Arbutus Cove Lane. He was non-responsive and not breathing.
B.C. Ambulance paramedics attended and determined that the man was dead, Fast said.
The man has been identified and his family has been notified, police said. The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating his death.
Part of Gordon Head Road was cordoned off and traffic was rerouted for several hours as officers investigated.
