Gun pointed at clerk during robbery at Saanich gas station

Saanich police are asking the public for information on an armed robbery at the Chevron station at Quadra Street and Cloverdale Avenue. A man entered the station’s store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money about 10 a.m. Saturday.

Saanich police are asking the public for information on an armed robbery at the Chevron station at Quadra Street and Cloverdale Avenue.

A man entered the station’s store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money about 10 a.m. Saturday.

The suspect fled on foot toward Cloverdale with a quantity of cash.

The 21-year-old clerk was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as having a receding hairline or possibly being bald. He was disguised with sunglasses and a medical mask, and was wearing a grey and white hoodie, black jeans and grey gloves.
