Oceanside RCMP continue to investigate after an 80-year-old Qualicum Beach resident died from injuries sustained when he was struck by a camper van.
The incident happened about noon Aug. 28 in Qualicum Beach, and the man died Aug. 31 in hospital.
Police spoke to the driver, who was given a breathalyzer test that detected no alcohol, said Sgt. Stephen Rose.
“The individual was transported to hospital for assessment for things unrelated to the crash,” he said.
