Port McNeill RCMP are looking for a man who allegedly pointed a loaded gun at another man in Oclujce, near Zeballos.
Police were called to a home in Oclujce just after 2 p.m. Sunday after a man reportedly pointed a loaded firearm at the occupant, who escaped unharmed.
An emergency response team including dog handlers and a crisis negotiator were called in. A search for the suspect led officers to Zeballos. Despite setting up road checks around the community, the suspect was not located, police said.
Police said the incident appears to be isolated and targeted.
