Port Alberni school sees second COVID-19 case

Another confirmed case of COVID-19 has turned up at Alberni Secondary School. The school saw its first confirmed case Oct. 3. The exposure happened Nov. 12 and 13, and follows recent cases connected to four Nanaimo schools and one in Ladysmith.

Another confirmed case of COVID-19 has turned up at Alberni Secondary School. The school saw its first confirmed case Oct. 3.

The exposure happened Nov. 12 and 13, and follows recent cases connected to four Nanaimo schools and one in Ladysmith.

Island Health said students should continue to go to school unless they receive a phone call or letter from health officials.

Port Alberni’s Wood Elementary and Carihi Secondary in Campbell River have also reported COVID exposures.
