Victoria police were able to de-escalate a situation involving an armed man having a mental-health crisis Thursday morning.
Officers were called to a medical facility about 11:30 a.m. for a report that man armed with a knife was threatening people.
Police found the man outside the facility and holding a knife to his neck.
After several minutes, they were able to get the man to drop the knife and surrender.
He was taken to hospital for an assessment.
No one was injured.
