Police seek suspect in stabbing at community shelter

Victoria police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday afternoon in the courtyard of a community shelter in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue. Police were called about 1 p.m. and found a man with potentially life-threatening injuries. B.C.

Victoria police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday afternoon in the courtyard of a community shelter in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.

Police were called about 1 p.m. and found a man with potentially life-threatening injuries. B.C. Ambulance paramedics arrived and took the man to hospital. His injuries are now considered non-life threatening.

The suspect is described as white, 20- to 30-years old and five-foot-eight. He had short dark hair and was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering on the front and black shorts, and had a black backpack.
