A Duncan woman told police that she was walking along a trail near the Trans-Canada Highway between Chaster and Boys roads when a man pulled her into the woods and sexually assaulted her, said Const. Pam Bolton, the First Nations policing liaison officer for North Cowichan/ Duncan RCMP.

The man is described as white and in his mid-30s. He had short dark brown hair and a dark brown goatee. He was between five-foot-seven and five-foot-eight and about 200 pounds, with an athletic build.
