The 18-year-old victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery, police said.

After an extensive search of the area by officers and a police dog, West Shore RCMP were not able to locate a suspect.

The attacker is described as a 30-year-old white man standing six-foot-four with blond hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black or grey hoodie.
