A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a large truck at the intersection of Gorge Road East and Jutland Road on Friday morning.
Victoria police said the pedestrian suffered potentially life-threatening injuries.
Traffic in the area is closed while VicPD’s traffic division investigates. Police are recommending vehicles use alternate routes.
Police are also asking for dash-cam footage and witnesses. Anyone with information can call 250-995-7654 ext. 1.
