One person was taken to hospital after a head-on crash at the intersection of Old Island Highway and Admirals Road in View Royal.
View Royal Fire was called to the scene just before 7 a.m.
Firefighters provided first aid to one of the drivers until B.C. Ambulance paramedics arrived. That driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The other driver did not need to be hospitalized.
The crash tied up the morning commute until the wreckage was cleared from the scene.
West Shore RCMP are investigating the cause of the crash.
