Oak Bay police are investigating a report of an attempted robbery in Carnarvon Park about 1 a.m. Aug. 9, when three females were approached by two males who had dark-coloured hoodies covering their lower faces.
One of the males demanded the females’ wallets and money. The females kept walking when an attempt was made to stop them.
As the females walked away, a red laser pointer was pointed at them, and one of them thought she saw an unknown object in one of the males’ hands.
The females managed to leave the area. Nothing was found in an extensive police search and the females were not injured.
