Drivers are being reminded that Highway 4 at Kennedy Hill will be closed weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Tuesday to accommodate blasting and rock removal.
The province said the new schedule was developed with communities and stakeholders and reflects what is convenient for people who use the highway between Port Alberni and the west coast of Vancouver Island on a regular basis.
The closure schedule is expected to remain in place through to the spring.
