Two warrants have been issued for a man Nanaimo RCMP say has been involved in property-related crimes around central Vancouver Island.

The warrants were ordered after 31-year-old Jesse Savidant failed to appear in Nanaimo provincial court in late December. He is wanted for possession of stolen property and breach of a release order.

RCMP say he has been the subject of police investigations ranging from West Shore to Port Alberni to the Oceanside area.

Savidant is Indigenous, five-foot-10 and 170 pounds and of no fixed address. He has a number of tattoos, including a rose on his left arm and flames on his right arm.
