Nanaimo RCMP are looking for a man wanted on an assault charge in connection with an August 2020 incident.
Police believe Lyndon Hodgins, 46, is actively evading arrest.
The assault happened on Aug. 13, 2o2o, when a man and a woman were assaulted. Police said the woman was repeatedly pushed without provocation, while the man was pushed into a ditch and kicked and punched.
RCMP said the victims knew the attacker and called police. Both declined medical treatment, police said.
Hodgins is described as white, six-foot-one, and about 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
