West Shore RCMP officers are looking for the owners of “a vast amount” of property believed to be stolen, including laptops, paintings and hockey cards.
Officers recovered the property July 16 from a vacant residence on Jacklin Road in Langford. Police believe the items were stolen in the past year.
Police are hoping to return the items to the owners, who will be expected to give a detailed description before collecting. Pictures of the items are not being released.
The recovered property includes numerous laptops of different brands, such as Dell, Toshiba, HP and Acer; more than 40 oil, pastel and print paintings of varying sizes; framed comic book cels; a large collection of comic books and hockey cards; and a DeWalt tool cabinet with hand tools and power drills.
Anyone who believes the items may belong to them can contact the West Shore RCMP Crime Reduction Unit at 250-474-2264.
