One man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in downtown Victoria that left the victim in hospital.
On Wednesday, detectives with Victoria police’s major crime unit arrested a man in connection with a stabbing on May 14 in the 700 block of Johnson Street, between Douglas and Blanshard streets.
The man was arrested on Caledonia Avenue.
Nathan Solomon Perez, a 38-year-old Victoria man, is charged with one count of aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of unlawful confinement.
The victim remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
