Oceanside RCMP were called Wednesday morning by an employee at a grocery store who had found a suspicious baggie in the produce aisle.

Police responded, tested the contents and discovered 3.6 grams of cocaine inside.

“If you are in the habit of dropping significant quantities of cocaine in very public places, consider attending the Oceanside RCMP detachment, as we would sure like to talk to you,” police quipped in a statement.

Oceanside RCMP Cpl. Michelle Lebrun said police are grateful the drugs didn’t fall into a child’s hands.
