Comox Valley RCMP are trying to locate a 31-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since last week.

Darrell Featherstone was reported missing to police on Aug. 6 after he stopped showing up for work and contacting friends and family.

Police spokeswoman Const. Monika Terragni said Tuesday that it is unusual for Featherstone not to be in touch with his friends and family for more than a few days. His truck has been located, and investigators — assisted by Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue — continue to look for him.

Featherstone is described as about five-foot-five with a thin build, shaggy dark blond hair and a goatee. He has at least two tattoos — a sleeve tattoo on his left arm as well as a Browning buck logo on his upper right arm. He was last seen wearing a camouflage hoodie, grey Carhartt pants, and work boots.

RCMP ask anyone who sees Featherstone or knows where he may beto call them at 250-338-1321. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Comox Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or comoxvalleycrimestoppers.bc.ca.
