Comox Valley RCMP say they have identified a vehicle, driver and passenger that generated two reports of suspicious circumstances in Courtenay this week.
Police asked for the public’s help Tuesday after receiving reports about a woman in distress in a Grey sedan. One person described her as crying and asking for help.
Tips from the public were key to obtaining the necessary information, police said.
Little additional information was released, with police saying just that investigators are working to ensure the safety of all involved.
