Saanich police reopened Chatterton Way on Saturday morning after it was closed Friday afternoon due to a suspicious package in the area.
The 4500 block of Chatterton Way, which had been closed to traffic in both directions, was reopened at 2 a.m. after the suspicious package was examined by the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team and deemed not to be an explosive.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
