A boil-water advisory for the Highland section of the Highland-Fernwood water service on Salt Spring Island has been lifted, according to the Capital Regional District.
The advisory was put in place following a water-main break on Dec. 29 and subsequent repairs to the water system on the northeast side of St. Mary Lake. It was lifted on Dec. 31.
